Initiatives spearheaded by students, alumni and community members are raising awareness and support for renovation projects on the Grounds.
Stand2gether is a campaign to support the Rotunda renovation by seeking online gifts in multiples of twos (minimum is $5) such as $22 or $222 or any amount a donor prefers.
Each year, the Restoration Ball offers students and alumni the opportunity to come together and support the Rotunda renovation.
The U.Va. Bookstore joins the effort to support the Rotunda renovation by contributing a percentage of sales of Rotunda-themed merchandise to the project.
The 1819 Wine Project, initiated by an alumna Ali Banks and her husband, Charles A. Banks IV, will donate 25% of the purchase price of U.Va.-themed wine to the Rotunda renovation.
Purchase a pen-and-ink sketch of the Rotunda by artist Cink DeVeas and 10% of the profits will go to the Rotunda Renovation.
Purchase on of Lauren Fritsch (College ’03) series of motivational posters titled “Thomas Jefferson’s Ten Rules to Live By,” and she will donate $5 to the Rotunda renovation.
Robert Shutler (Architecture ‘79, ’82), AIA, created the University of Virginia College Daze game in his spare time and will donate 100% of the proceeds from games sold online to the Rotunda renovation.
Purchase the film “Rotunda: A Living Portrait” by composer Judith Shatin and film-maker Robert Arnold, and will donate 20% of the proceeds to the Rotunda renovation.
