Catherine Neale Bean, Col

Catherine is a principal at Element Properties, a boutique real estate development firm in Boulder, Colorado. Element Properties is a privately owned, Boulder, Colorado-based full-service real estate development and investment company, focused on creating value for partners, stakeholders, and community. Element targets urban-infill multifamily rental, for-sale condos and townhomes, affordable housing, office, and mixed-use opportunities in established and high barrier to entry markets with proven long-term demand drivers and a reputation for high quality of life.

Catherine graduated from the University with a B.A. with high distinction in history. Her senior thesis focused on the role of slaves at the University, which played a crucial role in the ongoing conversation of the topic. During her time as a student, she served as Student Member to the Board of Visitors, President of the College, Student Member to the College Foundation, a University Guide, and a member of the Raven Council. She also found plenty of time to form lasting friendships and enjoy everything Charlottesville has to offer.

When she’s not working or cheering on the ‘Hoos, Catherine spends time with her husband, daughter, and dog. They’re all eagerly anticipating the arrival of identical twin boys in fall 2020. Catherine also attends Grace Commons Church and serves on the Board of the Boulder Shelter for the Homeless.
