Reunion Giving

OVERVIEW

Celebrate Your Reunion by Giving Back!

Your reunion year provides an opportunity to support the University in a way that is personally meaningful to you.

What Counts?

Designate your reunion gift to one or more areas -- your school, presidential priorities, scholarships, athletics, or any initiative across Grounds. All gifts count.

In this fiscal year, all new commitments (pledges, gifts, or planned gifts) of any size will be included.

Reunion Giving Goals

Reunion giving is measured in two ways: total dollars and class participation rate. See below for your class goals.

Please consider making your gift or pledge before the actual Reunion, as all amounts before that time will be factored into the trophy-winning prizes for classes. Our Reunion campaign officially ends on June 30, 2024.

Reunion weekends are May 31–June 2, 2024 (the classes of 1994, 1989, 1984, 1979, 1974, and the Thomas Jefferson Society) and June 7–9, 2024 (the classes of 2019, 2014, 2009, 2004, and 1999). We encourage everyone to attend Reunions and make a gift that is important to them!

Reunion Giving Committees

Committees work in partnership with the University’s Office of Reunion Giving to:

  • Support UVA by making a personal gift to any area of the University during the fiscal year (July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024).
  • Help identify classmates who have the capacity and passion to make leadership gifts.

UVA’s 2024 Reunion Giving Committee members volunteered their time in the spring of 2023. If interested in helping with the reunion giving effort as a volunteer, it’s not too late! Please contact Mary Blair Zakaib at maryblair@virginia.edu for more information.
