Enhancing the Student Experience

Overview

The UVA Parents Program enhances the student experience through annual gifts from parents of current and former students. Directed by the UVA Parents Council, the Parents Program supports student clubs and cultural events, academic enhancement programs and career services, health and wellness initiatives, and class dinners and traditions that enrich student life across Grounds.

Scholarships

Rewarding Performance, Supporting Growth

The Gilbert J. Sullivan Scholarship and the Gordon C. Burris Scholarship are awarded to rising third-year students who have a demonstrated record of citizenship, leadership, academic achievement, and financial need.

Grants

Funding Student Clubs and Organizations

Providing grants helps us enhance the undergraduate student experience. We have allocated more than $1 million across Grounds annually for the last several academic years.
