Parent Leadership Council members are Parents Council families who commit $10,000 or more annually to the Parents Fund. In addition to the above, this distinguished group of families are asked to participate in the following:
Parents Council Co-chairs participate in monthly calls and lead our biannual meetings. Two in-state and out-of-state families serve in each of the following roles for one-year terms: incoming, current, and past.
Our current Co-Chairs are Cristal (COM ’98) & Jon (LAW ’00) Waldrop and Anne Carter (COL ’95) & Dean (COL ’94) Smith.
The Waldrops (left), from San Mateo, CA, are parents to sons Mason (COL ’26), and Anderson (COL ’29).
The Smiths (right), from Charlotte, NC, are the parents of daughters Kat (EHD ’26) and Wesley (EHD ’27), who are both in the School of Education and Human Development.
