We create partnerships, raise funds, and maintain records for the University of Virginia to help meet the ever-growing financial needs of our schools and units. We believe that interactions between alumni and students are critical to building lasting relationships with the University, and we seek to communicate with as many alumni, donors, and friends of the University as possible each year.

Expect your receipt approximately one week after making your gift.
You may allocate your gift to any area of the University. Unrestricted gifts to school or unit annual funds allow discretionary use of funds supporting various needs, including scholarships and cancer research.
Timing is important.
Credit card by phone
This is the best and easiest way to support the University. Student callers will take your secure credit card information over the phone, and your funds will be immediately available to help UVA schools and units. A receipt will be sent once your transaction is processed.
Credit card online
Make your gift securely online. A receipt will be sent upon processing.
Check by mail
If you made a pledge over the phone, you’ll receive a pledge letter and card so you can mail your gift. Make checks payable to The University of Virginia and mail to:

All callers are current UVA undergraduate or graduate students hired for their love of the University and passion for connecting with alumni and friends. Select students work as shift managers and lead fundraisers.
Fundraisers speak with alumni, parents, and friends of the University of Virginia in order to raise funds, build and maintain relationships with constituents, and share information on behalf of the University. Cavalier Connect raises over three quarters of a million dollars per year for vital University programs including most schools, Parents Fund, University Libraries, Scholarships, and many more.
