Anna Piper (COL ’27)

Anna Piper is double majoring in public policy and leadership and foreign affairs. Her academic and professional interests center on advancing education through evidence-based public policy. She works as a research assistant to Professor Beth Schueler at the School of Education and Human Development and serves as a program development intern at the Sorensen Institute for Political Leadership within UVA’s Weldon Cooper Center. 

Piper is also a staff writer for the Virginia Journal of International Affairs, a political associate with Cavalier Strategies, and a Student Dialogue Fellow at the Karsh Institute of Democracy. Committed to civic engagement and community support, she volunteers with the UVA Community Food Pantry, Food Assist, and Hoos Vote.
