At UVa, Katie earned a B.A. in Religious Studies and also completed an Echols Interdisciplinary Major. Katie was Class Giving co-chair her fourth year; she was also an Orientation Leader and involved with Student Council, Sexual Assault Peer Advocacy (SAPA), UJC, and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity. Following graduation, Katie has worked for nonprofit organizations in various fundraising and programmatic roles. She is currently the Senior Manager of Business Development at Hot Bread Kitchen, a Manhattan-based social enterprise whose mission is to create economic opportunities through careers in the food industry.
