Student Enrichment Fund

Thumbnail

The UVA Parents Program provides Student Enrichment Fund grants to current undergraduates who lack the resources to participate in professional development and academic enrichment experiences, such as J-Term classes, studying abroad, extracurricular program fees, conferences, and internships.

Student Enrichment Fund grants are considered on a rolling basis and are contingent upon the availability of funds.

Eligibility

All UVA undergraduates with demonstrated need who are in good financial standing with the University and have an unblemished disciplinary record are eligible to apply for an SEF Grant. In addition:

  • SEF grants cannot be used to supplement University tuition costs during the regular academic year (Fall and Spring semesters).

  • Proposed enrichment experience must take place prior to applicant’s graduation.

  • Applications are evaluated on a first come, first served basis and submission does not guarantee funding.

  • Priority will be given to first-time SEF applicants.
