Casey Balamut (Ed ’18) holds an important distinction among UVA alumni. A recent graduate of the School of Education and Human Development, she was part of the University’s first cohort of Blue Ridge Scholars. Established by John Griffin (McIntire ’85), the Blue Ridge Scholarship program benefits undergraduate students with exceptional promise and significant financial need.
